It’s been three years since we first started filming @home and I’m proud to announce the near completion of our film. We are in the final leg of the post-production process, doing everything we need to prepare the film for release and to share it with the world.

On July 22nd, @home will see its first screening in Washington, D.C., at the National Conference on Ending Homelessness, an event for which I am tremendously excited. The audience at this conference is made up of people who dedicate their lives to helping homeless individuals. I hope that they find this film uplifting, and that it adds a fresh perspective to this challenging issue.

During my time with this film, I’ve gotten to know many people experiencing homelessness. It’s been an honor to be involved with this project and, especially, those who so graciously shared their stories with us. I give enormous credit to Mark Horvath for the work he’s doing and admire how, after being homeless himself, he’s chosen to devote himself to exposing the realities of homelessness to us all.

I can’t express how grateful I am for your support in making this film and telling this important story. Homelessness is an issue that often falls through the cracks. It’s complex — but as I learned, there are solutions. Good people are taking action to put an end to homelessness, and real change is happening, right now. By supporting @home, you are an agent of this change.

Thank you,

Susanne Suffredin
Director and Editor, @home
