I was able to talk to him honestly and openly about the role he sees that faith based organizations can play in ending homelessness and where they fall short. We also talked about his own evolving relationship to the faith that saved him. Michael Dwyer spent a day filming with Mark in LA two days later. They filmed at the winter shelters and with Mark who, as a case worker, tries to find shelter and housing for LA's homeless. They also filmed RD, a woman we got to know in our earlier filming, move into her own apartment.
