We are proud to announce that our latest project, Sister, has been selected as one of seven films participating in the first-ever Good Pitch Chicago.
Produced and directed by Rebecca Parrish, the film explores the 21st century Catholic Church through the lens of three energetic nuns whose values put them at odds with the hardline hierarchy of this centuries old institution.
Sister will screen for Good Pitch at the Chicago Cultural Center on October 22nd, followed by feedback from funders, broadcasters, filmmakers, and marketers about ways we can up the impact of this film for good. Born out of the conviction that documentary is a powerful tool for change, this flagship event brings together filmmakers and activists around social issues, creating coalitions and building partnerships. We are honored to be recognized beside these talented filmmakers from Chicago and around the country, and to have the chance to meet the other talented and influential folks who are participating this October.
Sister is still in production, and is soliciting funds to help finish the film. Chip in to help us reach our crowdfunding goal and get Sister off the ground.
