We've just launched an ambitious fundraising drive for the @home campaign, a documentary and smartphone game exploring homelessness in America.
@home combines documentary film, social media, and a smartphone "game for social change" to convey one simple idea: that we can solve homelessness, and each one of us is part of the solution.
We're in the final push to finish the @home documentary, following activist Mark Horvath across the country as he tells the stories of homeless men and women on Twitter, Facebook, and Youtube. Mark's story is truly remarkable -- from homeless and addicted on Hollywood Blvd., to leading an online movement that puts faces and names to the American epidemic of homelessness. We want to make sure this story gets told, and that we move the needle on this issue.
And right now, we need your help -- to complete the film, continue the design and development of the @home smartphone game, and launch an outreach program around homelessness, city by city, next year. Along the way, we'll be working with local governments and partner organizations, like the 100,000 Homes Campaign, the National Alliance to End Homelessness, and the National Coalition for the Homeless, to raise funds to house homeless individuals.
Then, share the @home campaign with your friends and families.
As always, thanks for your support!
