We’re proud of the strong partnerships the Radical Grace team has formed with our interfaith network of partner organizations interested in faith, feminism, and social justice.
What does faithful feminism look like, you ask? One inspiring new campaign for equity in the Catholic Church is leading the way, and we’re excited to be a part of it:
On June 16th, the United States Council of Catholic Bishops will convene their General Assembly in Huntington Beach, CA — and there are a few things progressive American Catholics would like to be sure they take seriously. Ahead of the Assembly, a group of 27 organizations has rallied together to create a declaration demanding that U.S. bishops work with them to build “A Church For Our Daughters”.
What would that Church look like? A Church for Our Daughters is one that strikes down every oppressive practice, teaching, and law that assigns women and girls to a subordinate status. It's a Church that is truly inclusive and alive with the gifts, spirit, and potential of all its members. It represents the same values the three sisters in Radical Grace lived.
We are so very proud to be working on this important social justice campaign as part of the Radical Grace team. If you’d like to learn more about it, please visit www.achurchforourdaughters.org.
